Biography (Dr. Vivian Ching)

Dr. Vivian Ching is an interdisciplinary advisor, artist, and educator working at the intersection of real estate development, creative strategy, and institutional design.

She holds a PhD in Quality Management, three Master’s degrees in Engineering, International Economic Law from the University of Warwick, and Management from the University of Bath, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Anthropology from the University of Virginia. Her expertise lies in designing long-term value systems that integrate commercial viability with cultural depth and human-centred thinking.

Vivian has held senior academic and leadership roles across the United Kingdom and Canada, including as Senior Lecturer in Business Management at Ravensbourne University London, a leading institution within the creative industries. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is currently a Partner at Quantum Academy & College in Vancouver, where she leads institutional growth, global partnerships, and future-oriented programme development.

Alongside her advisory work, Vivian is an internationally exhibited contemporary artist. Her vibrant paintings have been showcased in 19 exhibitions worldwide, featured on television and at charity events, and even launched into space through a historic collaboration with Canon, making her the first Hong Kong artist to exhibit in space. She has been profiled by more than 80 international media outlets including Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Tatler, Time Out, TVB, Fairchild TV, Yahoo News, Esquire, and Cosmopolitan.

Vivian advises organizations across North America and Asia on strategic positioning, creative-led development, and long-term value creation. She is the author of AI for Creatives: Unlocking Expressive Digital Potential (Taylor and Francis, 2025), now held in over 110 academic libraries worldwide including Harvard, Oxford, and MIT.

As an Alliance Partner of WCAI, Vivian contributes multisector advisory expertise across property strategy, cultural positioning, and creative development, engaging flexibly across a wide range of project types to support initiatives that move beyond conventional real estate models toward experience-driven, future-ready ecosystems.
