Description
Aristotle Living is a five-storey, 173-unit residential development in Langley’s Willoughby neighbourhood, offering a mix of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom homes. The project focuses on livability at higher density, combining efficient unit planning, contemporary West Coast architecture, and shared amenities to support daily life and long-term community value.
Livability-Driven Planning
Aristotle Living is a multi-family residential development located within the Carvolth Transit Village, responding to the area’s emerging role as a high-density, transit-oriented neighbourhood. The project consists of two six-storey buildings arranged around a shared central courtyard, creating a strong internal open space that supports resident interaction and enhances overall livability.

Architecture & Community
The architectural massing is carefully broken down through stepped upper floors, articulated façades, and varied materials to achieve a comfortable human scale along the street. Ground-floor units feature direct street access and landscaped transitions, reinforcing “doors on the street” and strengthening the public realm. The project integrates adaptable housing units, shared indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, and grade-adaptive design to respond to site slope while maintaining accessibility throughout. Together, these strategies create a cohesive residential environment that balances density, livability, and neighbourhood integration.
Shared Amenities & Social Life
A resident-only clubhouse anchors the development, offering expanded amenity spaces for socializing, wellness, and creative use. These shared environments extend living beyond the unit, reinforcing a sense of connection and community within a growing urban setting.
