Description
Radius is a mid-rise multi-family residential project located within The Bridges redevelopment in Calgary. The design uses a compact footprint, articulated massing, and active ground-level units to support urban living within a growing inner-city neighbourhood.
Neighborhood-First Massing
The building massing is organized as a perimeter block that defines the street edges and frames internal amenity spaces. Upper levels are carefully stepped to reduce perceived height, while townhouse-style units and clearly defined residential entries activate the ground floor and strengthen the pedestrian experience. Below grade, multiple levels of parking are efficiently integrated to support the residential program without dominating the site.
Distinct Base and Light Upper Expression
Façade articulation and material variation break down the building scale and add visual rhythm across the elevations. A restrained palette of brick, metal panels, and glazing reinforces a contemporary residential character while providing durability and texture at street level. Together, these strategies position Radius as a well-integrated urban residential project that balances density, livability, and neighbourhood context.
Street-Activating Entrances
Radius is a seven-storey multi-family residential development located within The Bridges master-planned community in Calgary. The project introduces residential density through a compact urban form while responding to its prominent corner condition and surrounding public realm.
